What does my Motor Legal Expenses Policy cover me for?

Your policy covers you up to the limit stated within your policy wording, for costs as a result of an accident. It also gives you access to our Credit Hire, Credit Repair and Personal Injury, as well as recovery services and free helplines detailed in your policy.

Does it make any difference if I am Third Party or Fully Comprehensively insured?

No, you can use your policy with both levels of cover.

Who is covered under the Policy?

The policyholder and any other authorised driver as well as any passengers.

What can I claim for?

You can claim for any out of pocket expenses incurred as a result of an accident. These need to be supported by the relevant receipts or documentation. Typical examples include any Insurance Excess paid, travel costs, damaged items and earnings lost as a result of an accident, amongst others.

What information do I need to make a Claim?

You will need your:
Angel policy number (found on the Angel Card),
Your Insurance Brokers name,
Your full address and contact details,
Your vehicle details
The Third Party/ies (i.e. other vehicles involved) details (name, address, insurers, policy number etc)
